Just to update current members and inform new members, the "Cookies" you read about throughout the site are the site's karma system. They are a way for members to reward helpful posts by other members or to punish a member for being combative, belligerent, or breaking the forum rules. The ability to give and take cookies from other members becomes available to all members after your 10th post (to keep brand new members from abusing the feature). You can look at a member's cookie count under their profile or under their user name within any post. You can give/take a cookie once every hour (again to help avoid system abuse). Please refrain from giving or taking more than one cookie from a member for the same reason. Once you reach the 10th post, you will automatically see the option to give and take a cookie under members' names with their posts.
You can view your own Cookie log by typing in this address into your browser
http://www.env-touch.com/index.php?action=ownkarma;u=#####Just replace the "#####" with your user number. You can find your user number by clicking on your user name from any of your posts or from the "Who's Online" list and looking at the end of the address in your browser.
For example, when you click on my name, this address comes up
