I came across this article that mentioned:

Quote
Fast Video Converter Pro Normally $24.95, this handy utility is available free, no strings attached, as part of a Thanksgiving promotion. FVC Pro supports just about every video format on the planet, from 3GP to Divx to WMV. It's perfect for converting videos to play on, say, your iPhone or Zune. Don't wanna wait until [Thanksgiving Day]? You can actually grab this freebie right now, and up until Nov. 30.

I just d/l'ed it and got a key.  I'm not familiar w/ this program, but will give it a shot when I get a chance.  Has anyone used FVC before?  It normally sells for $25-40 and got good reviews from that guy on CNET.  If you think you may use it on your enV Touch, grab it by 11/30 get it for free.  Cool

You're welcome.  Let me know how you like it.  I'll give the program a shot this holiday weekend.  Hopefully it can replace SUPER, which is free, but a PITA to use.

I think they are all pains, personally. Regardless of cost. Unless I find a post telling me EXACTLY what to do for a specific program and specific filetype, I'm left wondering what the heck delacing my GDF settings and offsetting the dicereydoo has to do with anything, and if I'm supposed to make sure the aggressive passive pacifier is checked, then why the heck is that box grayed out? Drives me insane sometimes. I understand the need for a few options, but as the software designers I used to work with would say, Keep It Simple, Stupid.

^ I feel your frustration.  That's how I felt in using SUPER.  If documentation is thorough and clear, then I'm willing to learn.  But if it's trial and error, that can get pretty frustrating. : \

I was so busy during the holiday weekend that I didn't even get around to this.  If and when I do, I'll post my settings here.  How about you?

Sadly I haven't been able to get it work.  Sounds is transferring well, but video isn't.  I tried very briefly last night, hence the post, so tonight I'll give myself some extra time to try it out.
