HI Folks,

For those of you who switched from a Voyager to a Touch, did you find any problems in indoor pictures with flash when compared to prior Voyager pictures?  I'm not quite convince the camera is as good, but my expectation could just simply be too high.

Thanks!

I just switched for the original voyager to the env touch and let me say the camera is way better than the voyager.

1. The env Touch has a 3.2 megapixel camera ...the voyager has only a 2.0 megapixel camera
2. The Touch camera has a flash and smart software ...the voyager does not.
3. The Touch has a high resolution screen...the voyager does not.

In my opinion the env touch is 10 times better than the voyager in all aspects.

Hope this helps

I've never used the voyager, but I can tell you that the flash is implemented poorly on the env touch.  The amount if flash is almost always way too high, totaly blowing out the picture.  Its way beyond what the 'intelligent' function can compensate for.  I don't know why the phone isn't adjusting the amount of flash, I think its something that could easily be fixed in firmware.

The "specs" might be better ... but so far ... my LG Voyager took BRILLIANT pictures compared to the two env Touch's I've owned.  The Touch has taken some 4x6 print quality pics, that's for sure, but I think in the long run so far my Voyager would have averaged better.

I did just get a new Touch on the mail since VZW agreed that mine was faulty in the software department ... so maybe this one will have better camera internals.

One can hope.  lol

the first, i put through the wash.

this second one had nothing wrong with it until I tried the Social Beat hack and couldn't redownload any other aps.

so as long as the third on is as good as the first two ... maybe all I need is more control of my pulse.
