Okay folks, our generous site owner has decided to open up his wallet (well, paypal account anyway) for the first members willing to make review or unboxing YouTube videos of the enV Touch that also include references to this site by name.  $50 is up for grabs. $10 dollars per winner spread over 5 winners. 10 bucks isn't very much money you say?  Well that's $10 dollars more than you had before making a video that won't cost you anything to produce.  Tongue

Here are the few criteria that your videos have to meet to qualify:

Rule 1 - It's an obvious one.  You have to reference www.env-touch.com in the video.  Also, please add the site to the video description after you upload it to YouTube along with some basic tags including "Voyager 2", "env touch", "LG", and "cell phone".

Rule 2 - The video must be over a minute in length.

Rule 3 - Have fun making the video.  Besides getting our forum out to the public, we want to see the phone as much as possible so show it off.

That's it.  Simple huh?  When you finish and upload your video, post the link in our video review section and contact me so I can check out your video and give you the information to receive your award.  As I alluded to earlier, all payments will be made through PayPal.

Thanks everyone and enjoy!

Damn, two days for the general public to get their hands on the phone and still nobody wants to pick up a little cash for a simple little video review that plugs the site?  That's more than a little disappointing.  Sad

Exactly.  Just a simple review of the phone that follows all of the basic guidelines laid out in the first post.

You can put the phone in Airplane mode while you make the video if you want.  I look forward to seeing any submissions from our members.  Cool

I'm definitely not a video expert and I actually use a nice webcam that has auto-focus capabilities so I've never had that particular problem when making basic recordings.  I'm not really familiar with your camera's settings and capabilities.  Is there a macro setting that might work better for up close recording?

Also make sure your not zoomed in at all.

I always try to have a list of things I want to discuss anytime I go on video.  A little trick left over from a Public Speaking class I took years ago.  A basic outline of the topics you want to cover just to keep you focused and to prevent a bunch of rambling.

I thought it was pretty helpful, as I have the voyager and I am thinking of getting the touch.  The flash is appealing, as well as the texting, and I liked the way the pictures are displayed.  Overall i think the video showed me some new things about it and I like the way it is set up. Now only to see what all bugs it's going to have.

I think i'm the most curious as to if you can get into it with BitPim, If so, that would make it a big selling point to me as well
