Hi Everyone!

Our upgrade time came around and I was hot to get a Droid but really wondered if it was more phone than I needed.  We stopped by the Verizon kiosk before Christmas and the sales guy showed us the Env-touch and I was sold.  My husband and I both got the Env-touch and both of us love the phone.  We added our daughter and got her a Samsung Glyde which has already gone back and replaced with an Env-3 (also love this phone).   For less than the data plan for the Droid both of us were able to get a data plan so that worked for me.  I upgraded from a Motorola Razor so having a ton of fun with the touch.  So glad to find this forum because it has really helped with my questions.   Grin

I would have kept my Razor longer but it seems like the batteries start to go and I know I can buy a new battery but.....I really wanted a new phone...lol

I love the touch and still finding out new things.  Having fun making ring tones and wallpaper...yup I love this phone!!!  I know it's not a smartphone but it seems pretty smart to me...lol  What is the difference between this kind of phone and a smartphone.  What am I missing in a smartphone?  The way the Verizon rep explained it was the droid was a data system first and phone second and the touch was a phone first.  Still really not sure what I'm missing guess I'm dense.

Thanks for the welcome!

Congrats, Lisa.  I also upgraded from a Razr (Motorola Razr Maxx Ve) to this enV Touch.  No regrets!  Hope your family enjoys the new toys!  Cheesy

Wow, that was a huge upgrade!  But kudos to your VX3200 if it lasted you for 5 years.  Cool
