Hello all.  I'm Kris.

Great site and all.  Has already helped me out greatly in the last month and change that I've had my Touch.

Looking forward to interacting and maybe even helping to contribute in some way down the road once I get used to everything around here.

Hi

Got an Env Touch and I was looking to see about firmware upgrades. Running XP and phone does not want to sync with computer. Bought a memory card and started to drag and drop.  Firmware is ver 5. No problems other than the sync problem. Thought about bitpim. Not an issue since drag and drop does the job. That's why I hadn't checked in in a while.

Will work for $

really things you can drag and drop you wouldn't use bitpim for. bitpim is more for adding games, themes, and clocks stuff that really can't be done through normal means

Hi

Thanks for the info.  Will download bitpim and keep that thought  in mind.  I have only done pics and songs right now. I will post in other forums like firmware updates, etc. and continue this topic.  There are a lot of things I would like to know and do with this phone.

Thanks.  I have been looking at video converters. You guys have excellent suggestions.  Handbrake, Any Video Converter, etc.  I will be trying these and seeing which one I prefer. You guys seem to like Handbrake.  Will take Itune videos and try different ones. The easiest one for me to work with wins.

Just discovered this site after spending time lurking on some other Env Touch sites.  Looks like a nice site.  I'm running v. 9 of the firmware and have a couple custom themes installed as well as the modem hack.  Looking for more cool things I can do with this phone.

Hi,

I'm new here. I just got an EnV Touch yesterday. I'm having a problem getting the driver to install but I will look around here before I beg for help. I like the phone so far. I had the first EnV and the EnV 2. I'm really disgusted with Verizon for forcing us to pay another $9.99 a month to get a decent phone. Oh well, I will try to make the most of that data.
