Welcome to the forums.  I'm sure you will gain a lot of knowledge of your phone here.  If you can't find an answer to a question by the search function, ask away.  Lot's of people that may know or point you in the right direction.

Enjoy.

Welcome to the site.  That's odd you went from a smart phone to a semi-smart phone.  Why did you want to downgrade?  Was the data plan to costly?  Enjoy your new Touch!

Actually the pearl kind a seemed like the semi smart phone and the screen was small the overall phone was good but really didn't fit my mind set. The blackberry interface was odd and kind of off on the pearl, for the cost that you have to pay on a smart phone for the data plan yes it was costly because I didn't use it enough to really give reason to keep it. I have the data plan for the touch and actually like the web results on it better, it seems more user friendly.

I have been looking over the site and searching the site but i have a question I am unable to fidthe answer for. Why does myxer.com not let you download on the touch??? Also what folder does ringtones go in on the sd card ??

Oh, that's odd how you think the BB is the semi-smartphone, LOL.  Yes, the screen on this is gorgeous.  I can only imagine how good the screen looks on the Droid and Nexus.  (I need to go to a VZW store one of these days to check out the Droid ... but I don't want to be tempted to get it!)

I don't have the Internet, so I can't help you about myxer.com.  For your custom ringtones, put them in the my_sounds folder.  Enjoy!

There's no ability to download files from the internet onto the SD card.  To my knowledge you can view attachments and such in e-mails (ie: GMAIL) but to get something like ringtones into the SD Card you'd have to either use the USB MASS STORAGE TOOL or send them to the phone via MMS then use the SAVE AS RINGTONE option.

g'luck!

One setting you want to check for.  Go to Settings & Tools, Memory, Save Options and set to save to card.

I got to look at the droid when I got my phone on the 9th and it looks total awesome the screen is cool.Yeah I thought it was weird also how this phone seems to compare differently, But I think it is starting to have problems and not sure what to do. It locks up when I unplug the phone from charging you have to give it about 15 minutes to cool or something and it is frustrating and you can't use it while it is pluged in cause it locks up, is anyone else having that problem??
