I'll give you four reasons:
- Physical qwerty keyboard
- Higher Res screen (Dare has 260K Color TFT, 240x400 Pixels, 2.98" and the Touch has 1,600K Color TFT, 800 x 480 Pixels, 3.00" , freakin beautiful)
- External and Internal screen are pretty much the same (swap the height-width of course), Dare only has one screen
- Internal screen is convenient for watching shows/movies, don't have to hold it the whole time to watch em
Why do you need two screens when you can only see one at a time?
Also, I already said a physcial qwerty is not a big deal for me.
So a sharper resolution screen is about the only advantage so far that I can see. Not worth the bulkyness, in my opinion.
Anyway, I have made my choice and I am not getting the Dare or the ENV-Touch.
I am gonna get the HTC XV6900. It's got all the good stuff about the Dare, plus it is WinMo 6.1 so it has tons of flexibility and available apps. I have been reading about this phone a lot and it is an awesome phone. I love how I can install any WinMo application I want. Also it is so small and slim, even smaller and slimmer than the Dare. Very pocket friendly. And with my upgrade discount it's only $10.00
Some people hate this phone, but I think it's mostly people who have never had a Pocket-PC or WinMo phone before. I have used an HP iPaq and also a Dell Axim for years, so Windows Mobile is a breeze for me. I think I will really like this phone. Finally a good alternative for carrying a PDA and a phone seperately. All the other phones that even compare with this one are just massive.
Anyway, thanks for the input.
So I'm not getting the ENV-Touch, but I am getting the HTC-Touch.
