I previously owned a LG EnV (orange) & I had the option to hold down 'CLR' during a conversation which would enable the recorder.  This was very useful to me in order to record any information that I couldn't write down at the time AND for recoding the voice-mail messages my 3 yr old son would leave for me.  Is this possible to do on the LG Touch?Huh?

you have to flip the phone open and then hold down CLR until the beep.then it will start recording.it wont work if your on the external screen.and dont worry about the recording timer.once you hear the beep it will start recording

That's dumb. I hate opening the phone. I wish they wouldve not included that feature making the phone thinner and lighter.

Can't you hold the middle button on the outside of the phone? Wont that record conversations?

You wish they wouldn't have included the internal keyboard???  That is one of the most distinctive features of this phone.  If you don't like it, why did you buy this phone in the first place?  You are basically describing the Dare.  Roll Eyes

Thats a stupid comment. If the touch didnt have the internal keyboard it would mainly be the Dare

This is a good tip about holding the CLR button and I open up my flip quite often, so that's not a problem for me.  Cool

This does not work for me. I too hear the beep but there is no new recording anywhere on the phone. I figure it would put it in the "media center" / "music & tones" / 5 "my sounds". nothing new is there. HELP!!!!!

Try holding down space while having the phone open. The CLR button doesn't work for me either but it does work when i hold down the space bar. You won't hear a beep but it should record. Hope this works 4 you  Wink

If you open the phone and hit CLR to record, then close the phone, will it keep recording? that would be nice
