I can't  load any streaming music  player to  the  LG  EnV  touch.

This prevents me from listening to radio stations or  other   web  based  content.

I  have  access  to the websites but  can't  download the  app.

Verizon  says I  need to upgrade to a blackberry to listen to web  based  music

Is this true?

that's pretty much true. the only other option as far as streaming goes would be to use orb to stream from your pc to your phone, but your pc has to be on to do it.

it's "more work" but what I do to "stream" is "watch" the music video on YouTube.

Hey
Thanks
So  that  orb  product  works OK  with  the  LG EnV touch.
Sounds  like  its  the only  solution.
I  haven't  seen  any  "jailbreak"  type  work arounds.

I haven't tried orb with the touch but it works great with my voyager, I can even stream my itunes library using it. I know there are tv stations on orb, so it is possible there are streaming music stations as well, I haven't been using orb that much lately so I am not sure about that.

If it wasn't for the awful VZ DSL I'd embrace ORB head-on.

Thanks

I downloaded orb app

I tested it on a ipod  touch and blackberry curve.  It worked fine on both devices but its failed on my Verizon LG Env Touch. I'm able to connect to my home PC; and I'm able to perform a BW test and I'm using 3gp settings

The error message is: unsupported document type
Is there something  I'm missing in the setup?

Thanks
