Hi all,

I hope you can help.  After spending many hours verifying mp3tags for album art, etc. I loaded some music on my phone and the some of genres have ˙ attached to the front. i.e. ˙rock.  Does anyone know how to fix this problem.  What's causing it?

I'm not sure of the cause, but i just wanted to verify that this is happening to more than just you.  It happened to a bunch of my genres as well.  Although it is not much a hassle to me since i don't use that feature that much, it might be to some.  One thing to check though, make sure your genre fields are filled out in a program such as mp3tag.  I checked a couple songs that this is happening to, and the genre fields were blank, leading me to believe this might have something to do with it.

I checked in mp3tag and all of the files have genre tags.  There doesn't seem to be a pattern as to which files are affected.  Some are purchased songs and some are ripped from my CD collection.
