On all my other Verizon LG phones, env, env2, dare, voyager, vx8100, the calendar always showed the calendar notification icon on the notification bar on the day that had the events.
Now on my env touch, it shows it the day before. Is this just my phone, or is this everyone's env touch?

I'm talking about the little Calendar Icon in the notification bar.
It always pops up the day before, and turns off on the day of the event.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are no settings to change when the icon appears on the notifcation bar. There's just settings to change when you get the actual alert (the one that pops ups as if you're getting a text)
I have all my calendar events set to no alert.

ok, on my voyager when I got to set an alert, for a new event it gives me options of when to have the alert notify me from on time all the way to two days before along with any tone I want to use. I find it hard to beleive a more advanced phone doesn't have those settings when adding the alerts.

You can set the actual alert and alert "ringtone" just like you could with you Voyager.  The thing in question I believe is the "icon" on your home screen that seems to disappear the day of the event, that there's no way to control under my understanding.

that's weird, I never use the calender on my phone so I am not sure on the voy when it disappears, but that is strange it would leave on the day of the alert before the alert occurs.

I believe the Voyager did that too, I remember people complaining about that quirk on those boards, but I can't be too sure.
