hey
i had my micro sd 4gb perfectly working in my env touch but instead of deleting the songs, i formatted the card into MS-DOS. Now when i put the memory card in my phone it doesnt recognize it (no card inserted) How do i format the card so itll work again?( i need to format it on mac)

you should format the card in the phone so the folders are there

when you insert the card in the phone it formats it, try erasing anything on the card and putting it back into the phone

Go to "Settings and Tools" / "Memory" / "Card Memory".    You should see a "Format" option at the bottom of the screen.

I'm having the same issue. I got my microSD card and filled it with music on my Mac. Listened to the music on my Env-Touch for a week.

When I deleted the music from the card to put different songs on, the card indicated it was still full. I reformatted the card in Disk Utility (MD-DOS FAT32) and put more music on it. Now, when I put the card in and go to settings->memory->card memory it says "card not inserted." Did the reformatting make it incompatible with the Env-Touch?

This sure isn't the ideal phone for the Mac user - but I wouldn't go with an AT&T phone if you paid me. Any suggestions, please?
