I inserted it into my phone and when I formatted it, a trash can appeared and said that it was formatted. I then put the smaller card into the bigger card to put into my laptop MicroSD card. I synchronized the songs that I wanted into it and then put the smaller card back into my phone. The songs aren't there and I'm wondering why. Are there any steps that I missed? Did you put the songs in the my_music folder?  When you formatted the card in your phone, it should've created several folders, including "my_music".
