Out of the hundreds (if not a thousand by now) text messages I've sent, I haven't even sent 1 where I *didn't* open up the phone.  The QWERTY keyboard is just too convenient.  Maybe one day, I'll even be able to type on it w/o looking at the keyboard.  Roll Eyes

Ok, so I got my EnV Touch a couple of days ago, on Friday.... as a replacement of my Samsung Reality which had gotten stolen. And I honestly LOVE my EnV Touch. Its the best phone I've everrr had (:.  Ok, so yesterday after my soccer game my mom took me to the Verizon Wireless which was convienently RIGHT next to my favorite smoothie store Cheesy (Jamba Juice ftw!) so I was allowed to get a cover for my Env TOuch. So I got a pink silicone cover(:. And I really love that too!!!!!!!!! I can easily see all the keys. The silicone cover really protects it well.

Hiya, Grats on your new phone and cover. The Env Touch is a really nice phone, the best phone I have owned on the Verizon network.

I have to agree with you thunder.  By far the best I have had.  I don't use the internal kb much for the external touch screen works just fine but I will use if from time to time.

My internal kb typing speed has gone way up after I turned off all the predictive crap that was bogging down the phone.  I recommend to turn it off to others who can text quickly.  I usually have to look at the kb when typing as opposed to just the screen, but sometimes I can type w/o looking at the kb.  Cool

Yes, the "Show Candidate", "Word Correction", and "Word Prediction".  I could never figure out the purpose of each.  But whenever I had any of them checked, then typing couldn't keep up w/ my fingers and that was most noticeable with spaces, which would show up something like the following example.  Let's say I want to type the following:

I'm going to the store to pick up milk.

It would come out as something like this:
I'mg oingt othe storeto picku pmilk.

Well, you get the idea, and I exaggerated it a little to make the point.  It was very annoying to go back and fix the spaces.  After turning off all the prediction crap, there's no more space lag.  Cool
