I have the same problem. I notaced it at 7:30, 03/15/11 it is now 2:09am 03/16/11 with no change. Did u get an answer from anyone?

What are you two trying to do?  Are you using bitpim?  LG Mobile update??  Give some specifics.  Chances are that you can unplug but the phone may be frozen.  You may have to remove the battery.  Give more details and we may be able to help.

I went to use the phone took it outta my holder and it said the message. I went to verizonwireless today and they removed, reinstalled the battery and it seems to be working fine.

i am having the exact same problem and i tried the battery thing and that didnt work but my phone is dead so it only dose it when i plug it in so it cant be charging my battery eather and it will not let me do anything it did thid lastnight and the battery thing worked but it wasnt completely dead

I have a friends Env that has some of the same issues.  It is still on ver4 Shocked  The vzw store could not upgrade it for him.  Since playing around with it I have noticed this same issue and have found that it is a hardware issue.  I had to stick the phone in the freezer for 15 minutes just to get it to charge.  Phone works great in winter and malfunctions during summer.

So, try sticking the phone with the batt installed into the freezer for a bit and see if that works.
