Well I'm very sad it's come to this but I need help. I've had the enV Touch for a month and a half now and yesterday I experienced my very first "stupid boat" as my friend likes to refer to it. I've seen it happen to my friend multiple times over the last few weeks and it's when your phone not only restarts itself, but it also reverts back to all the original phone settings, IE postage stamp theme, keyboard sounds back on, shortcuts menu undone, and of course the stupid external boat wallpaper, hence the "stupid boat" nickname it's donned. So after watching this happen to my friend for a while it happened to me for the first time yesterday. I heard my phone power on, with the startup sound which was unusual because I always keep my phone on vibrate, and there it was, all my settings undone and the boat staring up at me. So I gradually set everything back to my liking over the course of the day and all seemed well again until this morning when I powered it up after charging and I heard the powerup sounds once again. Just as I had feared, I was back to the stupid boat. So I set everything back, again this morning, and am hoping it doesn't happen a third time, but I know from many bug issues with the Voyager that it most likely will. So this post is for me and my friend, who has claimed it happened to them 6 times in one day once. Has anyone else experience this? Is there anything we can do to stop it? I personally would rather not get it replaced as I am not a very big fan of Verizon's inadequate replacements. If it helps, we're both running V04 software.

Try updating it to V07, either yourself or through a VZW store.  This happened to be once so far since last June and I agree it's very annoying.  I think I was running V04 when it happened to me.  Since then, I updated it to V05 and then V07.  LOL @ the "stupid boat" nickname, but I agree.  Good luck! I've been hit by this "stupid boat" bug now as well. I guess I'll try updating the firmware to see what that does for me. I'm still on V03, had our phones for just under a year and it hasn't happened to my wife's phone yet.

I don't know if its related or not but today I went to send a message to one of my favorites and my favorites section was blank.  I started to add them back and I noticed their picture ID's were also gone.  First time this happened to me.
