Has anyone had to get a refurbished Env Touch from Verizon yet, and if so, has it been working okay...? Any problems..?

I've just had really bad experiences with my Env 2's going bad shortly after receiving them so I guess I'm just not wanting to deal with it again with a different phone.

Thanks

I got a refurb back when I returned mine due to a defect. I've had it reset maybe once and reset a few minor things a few times. Didn't realize it was a refurb until someone at tech support told me it was.

I had a refurb and about 2 weeks after getting it, I got the Blue Screen of Death and they replaced it again with another refurb.  It was scratched and old looking, even though it had less than 2 hours worth of call time logged into it.  I marched in the very next day and politely and respectfully demanded a replacement that looked as good as the original phone that I first turned in (because it got HOTTTTTT when it charged, like burn your hand, hot). but it was esthetically beautiful.  They replaced it again!

But this weekend, I dropped it and SCRATCHED my screen (I thought I had a screen protector on it....guess I didn't.  Oops....)   Anyone know of any products that "buffs" out the scratches and minimizes them?  They look so bad, it makes me want to cry every time I look at my screen.

Thanks, and have a wonderful Sunday!

Since my last post in this thread, I've returned the refurb due to it popping out the miniSD card all the time. Was that the reason that phone was returned by the original owner in the first place? We'll never know. I griped enough and got a new one, no problems yet (at least none that I'm not used to dealing with).

My brother also has an enV Touch; however, his has been shutting down randomly and more frequently lately.  He got the firmware updated to V07 at his local VZW store, but he said that didn't help things out.  I said he can call VZW and request a replacement, but most likely they'd send him a refurbished phone rather than a new phone.  Is there anyway he can get a new phone or it would have to be a refurbished one?

He asked me what a refurb phone would mean and I told him it could be a phone that someone returned during the trial period or a phone that someone returned b/c it was broken but LG then eventually fixed and told VZW it can be put back in service.  Is that accurate?
