In the past week I've received two strange text messages from 1-180-122-22269 that contain the following lines:

1 of 2://BREW:0104F4BC:OZMAIL
CI=A2834A4D61F1538D071B4A866A43EA02 MC=1
To stop these messages simply reply to

2 of 2:this one
(charge may apply)

They both had the high priority exclamation mark on them. Anyone have a clue what these are? The first time I deleted them but I left the second set in place on my phone but will not respond to them. Any insight would be appreciated.

Never seen those before. Sounds like someone is trying to get you to download  an app or update on of your previous apps. If you didn't download or add any new apps then I wouldn't worry about it. Just continue to delete it.

I Googled the phone number and found lots of links. It is connected to the Verizon email app. In the last few weeks I turned on notifications for my Gmail account in the Verizon email app and I think that's what triggered these texts.

This happened to me after I messed around with fooling the phone into downloading the Social Beat app, before it was available for the Touch. I got rid of it, and the messages went away.
