i am debating which brand to go with. which works the best with the touchscreen without losing its sensitivity.

phantom skin currently 50% off w/ free shipping till end of june   code:  Summer50

clear protector currently 50% off w/free shipping till 6/14  code: FATHERSDAY09

zagg is 20% off...

update 7.03.09
i got the clear protector on one phone and phantom skinz on my sister phone. both took a while to put on "over 1 hour" and after 1-3 week both looks good with little to no peel. very tiny ones in one or two corner pieces.

the phantom skinz had fewer pieces that folder over edges of phone that can create air bubbles if not careful when applying on.

the feel on the phantom skinz is more slippery and less sticky. so it is easy to use the touch screen with it. so i prefer the phantom skinz cause its feels better with the touch screen.

i have not felt the invisible shield on the touch screen so i can not make a comparison to it.

decal girl doesn't cover the screen, and zagg has been proven time and time again to be the best screen protector on al the phone forums I have been involved with.

if you already have a screen protector why would you need the is or phantom skiz which are both screen protectors?

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a skin.  I use Zagg on everything I have, but i think it might be kind of sticky for the actual touch screen.  Im looking for something like the protective piece that came on the phone.  Any information would be helpful.

Thanks

Just put my invisible SHIELD on... tried very carefully... soaked the thing, both sides with the spray, but still went on slightly crooked so there's just a whisker hanging off one side... but my biggest concern is the little bubbles.  That damn thing didn't slide at all and during the squeegee step, left a couple of "trapped bubbles" about the size of a match head.  Any chance those will go away?   Huh?

They should work themselves out over the next couple of days.

I did the inside screen first, as a practice run... then the outside.  Neither of the skins moved at all, once they made contact with the phone surface.  Sheesh!   Huh?

They do have a small learning curve when it comes to their installation but at least you have a lifetime guarantee so if you decide they didn't go on perfect enough for you, then you can just peel everything off and have Zagg send you a new set for the cost of shipping.

Ya... that's my backup plan.  The worst air bubble is right on top of the front screen "unlock" slide arrow.   Shocked

The first time I bought an IS, I was extremely annoyed that I wasn't able to get a couple of bubbles out from under it and was very skeptical that they would "work themselves out" as Zagg's website describes.  But a couple days later and all was well.  I have been using the IS for years now on my cell phones and other devices that I don't want the screen to get all scratched up.  I don't care if my toys have scratches on the body, just as long as I don't have to stare at them on the screen.

Phantonskinz now has the touch listed.

From the reviews I have read, the PS gets better reviews because it goes on clearer and doesnt have that orange peel look. Im going to give it a try and see what I think. Right now for 10 bucks you can get two complete skins sent to your door...

I actually just ordered 2 sets of Phantom Skins (so 4 total). Right now they have a promotion going on for 50% off; the code is "summer50". I'll post how it goes as well when they arrive.
