Has anyone gotten bitpim to work on a mac at all? I have used my windows computer to view my filesystem, but I really only use the mac, so I'd like to get it to work. So far I've tried most suggestions that the windows users have suggested without any results. This is my first phone that I've needed bitpim for, so I'm shooting in the dark here on the mac.

Thanks, let me know if you get it to work. I have used VMWare Fusion on the mac and it worked, but it would be great if it would actually run in OSX for synching with iCal and the mac address book

I have gotten bitpim to work on my mac when I had a voyager but have not tried it yet with the touch.  It worked flawlessly with the voyager so i can only hope for the same when it comes to the touch.  BTW I'm running OS X 10.5.7

Yeah, 10.5.7 here as well. I tried for quite a while, but with no luck. I resulted to using my old windows box for bitpim and outlook sync, but it's a tedious process syncing the iCal to outlook then to the phone. If you have any luck let me know, it'd be great to get everything working on the mac.

I am using BitPim 1.0.6.ppc-Test.  And I just used the same settings as before with Leopard.    If you got it to work in Leopard you should have no problem.  Don't forget to have the phone type selected as the LG-VX10000 (Voyager).

Voyager still doesn't work for me. Not quite sure why. I run a MacOSX 10.5.8 Leopard. Could you explain how you got it to work (such as which settings)? (Sorry, but I'm quite new at this & just got my Touch a few days ago)
