Thanks to jokester1365 on HoFo

Figured I'd spread the news

Quote from: jokester1365
Its been a lot more than 3 weeks since the last minor version release of bitpim but that is probably because there hasn't been that many changes.  So for all the impatient people who can't wait for the next version or even the next test build, I decided to compile the latest bitpim version from the SVN repository.  The only change in addition to the changes already listed for the BitPim Test Release 1.0.7.20090303 is:

New phone support: LG VX-11000 (enV Touch) (Initial)

Disclaimer: This is an UNOFFICIAL build, not released by bitpim.org or any of its offical developers.  All the same licenses apply.  Use at your own risk as this is a beta/test version and may contain bugs.  *There is no guarantee that saving phonebook data from bitpim to phone will not cause problems that some were reporting.* This is the same info that applies to using any bitpim version including a main release.  Give back by reporting any bugs found.

Only to view file system possibly ringtones/walls (I think they just did it manually via file system but I'm not sure)
This is supposed to be full support auto detect contacts everything (from what I understand, haven't tried it myself yet.) possibly t9 editor, like I said I haven't tried it yet but its supposed to be completely supported.

MAC Sad

Please do not make one word posts.  It's against the forum rules.

And yes BitPim detects everything automatically.  At least it did for me.  Thanks for the post and letting everyone know BitPim has updated to the touch.  Nice Find!

Seems to me you listed the name and site.  I don't think you HAVE to post it.

Nuts...when ever I try to read PhoneBook data from the phone, or write it to the phone, I get an exeption error.  Sad

well this is kinda like an alpha release (he compiled from the latest SVN and the current release is still in beta) so I'm sure there's bugs. I heard you need your phone in modem mode. Have you tried that?

I tried it both in media sync and modem mode...same result each time.  I was never able to get it to work at all in previous versions using the Dare or Voyager selection as described in other posts.  Weird how it works for some folks, but not others.  Wonder if there's different phone versions out there?
