I'm also having a major issue with getting BitPim to recognize my phone! I'm running the 1.0.7 test version and I've tried everything including the following: - Setting the phone to the enV Touch setting (11000)
- Selecting each COM port individually
- Restarting my computer
- Setting my phone to "Modem Mode" and the other 2 options as well.
Basically anything I could think of, and I'm still having NO luck. Can anyone help or is there anything else I can try!? I'm more than ready to add more themes, and try at designing my own!

do not set your phone to any mode, leave it normal, make sure you have the lg drivers installed on your pc, start bitpim before you plug in the phone, I have found this works best. Also the newest beta version of bitpim will detect the touch.

The newest FULL release does not have the touch, the beta does. You will have to use the Dare or Voyager settings if you are using the full release.

I don't know if this will help you or not, but I was reading how people got theirs to work. What worked for me is downloading the lg env touch usb drivers and than setting the bitpim settings to env touch 11000. com7 ...Thats what worked for me ...good luck!
