I get this phone tomorrow from Verizon, should I charge it first? or turn it on and go?

Which would be better?

It's always better to charge your phone before it's first use.

thats what i thought but was just double checking.

let it charge then let it run out correct?

i normally charge my phones over night, when they are still turned on, is that an issue? or just turn it off?

Oh sorry, excuse me. I ment to say..It says "Press 1 to program your phone." Thats what I am talking about. It will put you on hold with some music to listen to and after 3 or 4 minutes then it will tell you its successful and then reboot your phone. If it drop calls, then your phone can be trash like my old Lg Chocolate 2..

I just got a new Touch the other day. My first Touch, I had got, was July 20th. The calibration had got so trashed, that the touch screen was almost useless. I went in to my local Verizon. They replaced my phone for free, for a BRAND NEW Touch, no questions asked. This phone, even brand new, newest firmware, freshly programed, the battery honestly sucks just as bad as my old Touch.

I tried charging it with the phone off, running it down to dead then charging, etc..
