take it to the vzw store and they will update it for you if you can't update it.

Does your phone and your son's phone now have firmware V09?  Glad it was a relatively quick process for you.

Yeah, wouldn't that be a hoot if it was v10. Shocked

I've went to VZW stores within the last 3 months, and ask them about updating my phone to v09, but get nothing.  I've been on v08 for a while now.  I see things about v09 and even v10, but those VZW reps disappoint me and say there's no update for my Touch when others on this board have said they've been updated to 09.

yeah they both got updated to V09, that would be cool if it did say V10, we went to a verizon premium store but they told me to go to the corporate one down the street because they r the ones that have the capability to do this

Yeah, a V10 would be nice ... like a shout-out to the Dodge Viper. Cheesy  But even V8 sounded cool.  V9 sounds lame.  laugh  I'm still at V7 - I don't have a data plan, so I don't feel a need to get the Polaris browser that's in V8/V9.  But one of these days I'll head over to the VZW store since DIY firmware updates seem to have gone the way of the dodo for our phones.
