My enV Touch just had one a few minutes ago, and well it said "Downloading... Do not unplug" and I was like "uhh ok, I guess V09 can be OTA now" then it just shut off and I tried restarting the phone but it won't budge, so I plugged it in and it started with the battery charging thing and I started it, checked firmware still at V05

I was and still am at V05, and idk what that update did, but my phone is lagging right now.

any ideas what just happened?

No first I heard of the mandatory OTA update. I would personally take it to a verizon store and have them check it out. Have them reflash it if need be and they can updated to the latest version for you.

Just went to Verizon a few hours ago, they said OTA updates are disabled for enV Touch, so they said mine was malfunctioning. They had my phone backed up and flashed to V09, and I'm loving this update Smiley Well atleast I can be calm now that malfunction is at a lower chance.

That's good, but I'm surprised they didn't put firmware V10 on there since that's supposedly the latest and greatest for our phones.
