The worst has happened - so now can I operate by touch only?

Yes - the worst has happened.  Tromping around in the rain today helping a forlorn friend, and the phone got wet.  I tried drying it out all day, but both screens are black.  The exterior screen and buttons are completely non responsive.  The interior buttons work phone and I can make and receive calls and check voicemail.  What concerns me are some valuable pictures and videos that were not saved to my external card.  I know!  Somehow it got programmed back to saving to the phone instead of the card and I was too busy to fix it lately.  So.... are there submenu screenshots to guide me to save the pictures and videos to the card with no visual guide?   I seriously doubt that Verizon will help me do that at that store.  The pictures are very meaningful to me.

Greg has the right idea.  You should be able to do a full backup of the tree and get any data off of it that you need.
