I just returned from a VZW Corporate Store

Verizon Wireless
600 Town CTR Dr.
Glen Mills, PA 19342

They had just received the VX11KV08 firmware on their system.  Grin

My Env-touch was flashed successfully in less than 30 minutes.  The phone did not lose any of its settings.
 
The major change is the browser is now [Browser Version] Polaris7.
some of the other settings
[Media Center Version]  3.1.5 SP01
[AVR Version] mVoice 2.40.1
[MMS Version]  L12.46R_03
[MSUI Version]  15.0
[OTADM Version]  5.3.2

Those are all the same numbers from the V08 I got from the LG software update program… I wonder if the stability has been fixed at all. I also wonder if they would reflash my phone, since I had to install the browser via bitpim and, though better than the old browser, it has a "build version" number on the startup page, and has a few stability problems.

The Browser startup version on the screen is JA29_1503 for the VZW released V08 firmware.

The build number is still on the screen of the official VZW release? Wow, that seems a little unfinished.

AND OMMG!!!!!!!!!! I THINK V08 FIXED THE T9 PROBLEM?! My phone is saving words overnight! It never did that before. Can someone please confirm this for me or am I just crazy? lol.


EDIT:  fml.... i was wrong. it may last longer now but the T9 problem is still there. i hate lg.
