this uses the voice recorder/memroy card trick

1.record a sound, doesnt matter how long onto your Msd card. (you do this by holding C on your phone)
2.turn phone off
3.remove micro sd card an put ito computer via adapter or reader or camera even
4. enable SHOW EXTENSIONS in folder options in control panel
5. rename whatever mp3 or wav file you want as your ringtone to the exact name that the recording has Copy paste works well.
6.copy the song or desired file into my sounds on the micro sd card.
7. navigate to it in your phone and set a\it and your done Cheesy

you dont have to turn phone off when you take sd card out.

You could even use usb mass storage instead of takin card out at all. that doesnt require any adapter

i didnt want to risk corrupting anything by taking the card out while it reads the file off of the memory card to bu used as a ringtone. i remember my old razr was real tempermental about that.

On an unrelated side note, the touch will play .mp4 files, ie:ipod or psp videos and they look great Smiley

I use an app called tonethis which can be found at tonethis.com.  You install it on your pc and you can send part of any song on your pc as a ring tone.  I love it.  They don't have the touch listed...I don't think they even have the voyager listed so I just use the env (9900) and it work just fine.

No reason to purchase...the free version just shows some ads but I didn't see any advantage to paying for the upgrade version.
