those menus are in the brew, we were lucky this one was a swf file

that doesn't mean that they cannot be changed.  if you browse through bitpim to

/brew/mod/obigo/usr_data/skins

you will see verizonstandardwqvga.ows  which is just a tar archive that you can unzip and it has tons of editable pictures in it.  then you just switch what you want, recompress it back to ows format with the same name, and reupload it to the phone.  here is a screenshot of some of the buttons you will find in it

I'm sure our members would be happy to see some photos of the changes you were able to make by editing those files.

that's because the vc video icon is smaller than the other icons also messages recent calls and contacts are slightly bigger than other icons

In the effort of saving myself about 123891203 minutes of a write-up.   You can watch this.

http://developer.lgmobile.com/lge.mdn.tnd.RetrieveTNDInfo.dev?objectType=D&resourceNo=TND00000267

Also,  here is the SDK.

http://developer.lgmobile.com/lge.mdn.tnd.RetrieveDocAndTools.dev?objectType=T#2

And to give you an idea as to how the phone works:

http://www.obigo.com/?no=2

EDIT: If you just want to recompile

/brew/mod/obigo/usr_data/skins/verizonstandardwqvga.ows

you won't find an archiver that will compress to that format, so, compress as TAR, then just rename.  it is the same thing.

the icons size can be adjusted but you neeed to do it in either swf quicker or flash, which I have found is better to replace the icons the do not lose any of thier resolution that way.

Ok so when I do this I get these boxes around the icons. I used Trillix and Photoshop CS4. Anyone know why this is happening? It happens to the Home button too btw. Also no text or anything comes up.

you get them because the original icons are square, the icons are a pain to me to do in trillex I would rather use flash to do it, or swf quicker, that is how I do all my themes, I find it easier to change the icons, size and shape since in the stock theme some of the icons are smaller than the bulk of them.

Ok so how do I get it in flash? or do you just start from scratch, in which case whats the action script?

But, what do you mean by square? They look like circles to me =/

they are but they are in a clear square box, use trillex to decompile the swf, then import it into flash, you have to move some icons around to get them to line back up but once you have one saved the fla you can just keep reusing it replacing the bg, and icons etc.

When you improt them into trillex are you bringing them in as a jpeg?
I usually import into trillex then export the whole thing to flash to move icons and to clean them up.
