Howdy folks.

A new version of the LG firmware updater has been released, 1.0.1.8.

The installer file name is now LGMobileUpdate.exe (used to be B2CAppSetup.exe).

Here is the Phone Software Update page:

Is anyone having problems updating?

Once I connect my phone, It says in the little box..NEW MOBILE PHONE SOFTWARE VERSION RELEASED..YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR MOBILE SOFTWARE..I continue to update and click Start Updating and it starts downloading everything fine, but when I reach the Update Tab..it says NOT SUPPORTED and it doesn't do anything else..what can I do? Thanks

Did you try rebooting after updating before plugging in the phone?

are you trying to update from V07?  if you are, it won't work .

Looks like you'll have to take it to the store, or find the .DLL files and force feed the install.  Sadly, that's quite risky.  So for v07 to v09, the store is your safest best.
