HOW TO : Phone memory pictures to External SD card

Greetings everyone.
I recently discovered that you can "now"
transfer pictures from your phone memory to MicroSD
I apologize if this topic/ tutorial has been covered.
when the phone came out i knew you could not transfer pictures unless via bitpim/ uploading them all your online album. right click save then transfer.
 quite fustrating... ok so on with 
----- ( i have firmware V07) if it does not work please check your firmware/ update ----

- Go to SETTINGS
- MEMORY
- PHONE MEMORY
- MY PICTURES
- MOVE
- MARK ALL -> DONE
* it will now ask you to confirm the transfer *

** please note the pictures marked as " favorite" you can see a star next to it , cannot be moved unless you unlock it as a normal picture, along with all the verizon default wallpaper

I don't think it's one of those well known features, so good to have it formally in writing. :-)  But you could even do it on the Voyager, so I'm sure the Touch always had the ability.
