Here is my problem I am  in the middle of a child custody battle and have my ex wife's deactivated envy with all of her text messages that she had sent and I need to print them off is there anyway to do that without having the phone turned on again and I need to make sure that I get the dates and times also when I print the messages. Thanks for any help.

you could get a program called qpst, it is a leaked qualcomm software, you can take screen shots of the phone's screen when it is connected to your pc, that is how I used to take screen shots of clocks I made for my voyager. just google the qpst since I can't give you the link.

Not sure why you are concerned about turning the phone on, just put it into airplane mode if you don't want it connecting to the towers.  You can use bitpim to download all files from the phone and then extract all the text msg's.  I think qpst is the way to go though if you want screenshots.
