You should hang out with better friends that don't make up such unrealistic stories.

I don't think anyone mentioned the legality. We just pointed out that it wasn't possible because the itoy apps aren't compatible with Verizon phones.

you do realize the android platform is already in use on the t mobile network. it doesn't matter how much better the droid and android platform are, people will still mindlessly go out and buy iphones...

the droid is a great phone, but any black berry can hold it's own against the iphone. The droid just carries with it the same type of hype that the iphone does. I am anxious to try out a droid for myself, I have played with bb's and love them, so I want to see what the droid has to offer as well. also don't forget about the pre, it has quite a bit going for it as well.

blackberry's are pretty cool...but too complicated..its a buisness phone, i want something more fun..although the bb does have some cool stuff, i think the droid is more app friendly

you are not serious are you? there a a lot of apps for the bb probably more or about the same amount as the iphone as well as a lot of free ones. The droid is a business phone as well it is a smart phone.

Plus ... let's be honest .... capacitive screen vs resistive screen ... compatibility at the very kernel of the application would be messed up. Nevermind mind the fact that they're programmed on a different platform.

ok i understand its a smart phone, but it'll atleast be a little more easier to understand then the blackberry...plus, with verizon, it'll have more reliability when it comes to connection and service...dude if you were to travel with the iphone, you would be scared out of your mind, but with the droid, you can predict that your going to have service all the way. i was on a camping trip once, and no one but me had service because i was the only one with the env touch, on the verizon network. now i know you all know this by now, but im just pointing this out. Sure the iphone and the bb can stand against the droid, but when it comes to service and understanding how the damn phone works, i think the droid takes it. im not trying to prove you guyz wrong because everyone is right, but everyone has their own opinion on phones and this type of topic. Droid is my type of phone

What makes you think one smartphone will be any easier to figure out than another? And why do you think a BB on Verizon's network would have any less reliability when it comes to network signal strength compared to the Droid?
I think the point some of us are trying to make to you is that you are making assumptions based on your excitement about the Droid phone instead of actual facts. It happens all the time to people. But you would be better off in the long term if you made your decisions based on ALL of the information rather than the ideas your mind has created based on your bias for the Droid.
