I have confirmation that the following do not work with the enV Touch.

Admin, please lock this thread and/or transfer it to the archives.

LG Desktop
LG PC Sync
LG Universal Data Kit

--------------------

LG Desktop is a management software tool for private information such as Contacts, Calendars, Todo, and Memo. LG Desktop allows you to add and edit Contacts, Calendars, Todo, and Memos. It also allows you to export data created in LG Desktop to a mobile handset or import data from a mobile handset to LG Desktop by using its synchronisation function. LG Sync Manager (installs with LG Desktop) adds PDA like sync capability, you just plug in the phone (or bluetooth) right click the icon and click synchronize, and you're always up to date.  Very cool little mighty app that has conflict resolution and multiple data overwriting options similar to palm/activesync.

--------------------

LG PC Sync enables you to synchronize your Phonebook, Schedule, Memo and Short Message Service (SMS) from your LG phone with your pc.

Using Windows, LG PC Sync allows you to:

Load information stored in your LG phone into your computer.
View, edit or delete data as well as create new data.
Load information stored in Microsoft Outlook into this application.
Edit and create the Phone Book, Schedule, Memo, and SMS.

--------------------

LG Universal Data Kit is used to upload ringtones and applications, change firmware, phone logo, IMEI and more. Contains: Content Bank 1.0, Internet Kit 2.5, PC Sync 2.6, and IMEI SVC 1.0.

GS, have you confirmed this program works with the Touch?  The instructions you posted mention compatibility with GSM phones but CDMA phones, like the Touch, don't have the same build as GSM phones.

I am kind of wondering the same thing.  I am looking for a really good/easy way to sync/backup my calendar entries in case the phone fails on me.  My contacts would all be retrievable using backup assistant.  Music and pics are on the micro card...but it looks like calendar entries would be lost.

Thanks for trying. Sorry it was a waste of time for you, and the others who have tried the apps.

I haven't tried those 3 programs but LG Outlook Sync seems to work fine for me for calendar and contacts. More info here: http://www.lge.com/us/mobile-phones/mobile-support/mobile-lg-outlook-sync.jsp
