LG Outlook Sync is a utility to synchronize your MS Outlook data with your LG devices. The current LG Outlook Sync supports enV 3(VX9200) and enV Touch(VX11000).

Currently LG Outlook Sync can synchronize your contact and calendar information only. Please note that by the limitation of the device not all the fields in the contact and calendar information will be synchronized.

Additionally, the number of contacts and calendar events that can be stored in the device is limited and is different between devices. So in some cases not all the calendar and contact information will be synchronized.

To download LG Outlook Sync and associated documentation, please click on the links for the attached files. You must be logged into enV-Touch.com to download.

Thanks for posting that.  I know a lot of people that don't have smartphones constantly search for ways to sync their phone's calendar with their outlook.

hey guys, i read through the stuff loaded it up and all.  The calendar events came in great.  The contacts/phone book not so great.

It will not read the street addresses in Outlook and place them in the correct fields in the device.  Any thoughts?

I'm running Windows XP Home Edition with Microsoft Outlook 2007

Hi juskrs.

Thanks for being one of the first to try out the LG Outlook Sync app and report back.

As it mentions in the op, you will run into problems with the fields.

Please read the attached LG Outlook Sync documentation (in PDF format).

Your answer should be in the LG Outlook Sync manuals.

So this is a bit disappointing.  I read the help manual on LG Outlook Sync and this is what it says:

Note 1: Even thought the device has address field, MS Outlook address field can not transferred to device and vice versa because of the limitation of the device.

I don't quite understand how the device is limited when it has:

Street
City
State
ZIP Code
Country

All of which are fields that are supported in MS Outlook.  I'll keep digging on sites or maybe call LG to find some other stuff out.  Who knows, kind of disappointing.

Is this working for everyone?  Mine appears to be working, it cycles through my contacts, prompts me for ones that throw errors (no address field, a phone number with an added extention in it) and then when its finished and I view the report, its all zeroes.  Upon looking in my phone, nothing has changed.

I deleted my contacts in my phone to see the effects of the syncing software, so I know nothing is happening because when I check my phone contacts, they're still empty.  Nothing is being input to the calendar either.

Anyone else having this issue?

I'm running outlook 2003.  I've done some research though, and apparently the issue is that I'm trying to sync with an exchange server.  I guess LG's software doesn't support that.

Seems a little silly to me to exclude compatibility for something so widely used as exchange servers.

I currently use Thunderbird for my email, which I can easily swap to Outlook if needed for a short time. Will this allow me to add an email address from outlook, and upload it on my phone, because I have an email address for my website, and if put in the correct info that I use for Thunderbird to retrieve my email, it will not work on the touch.

EDIT: tested out, no it does not. Hmm, now how can I get this email addy to work Sad I got my gmail to work though.
