i was skating at a skatepark and fell pretty bad on my hip where my phone was (in my pocked) so i checked it. i only checked the outside and saw that it was fine, assuming that the inside couldnt have any damage since the external screen was fine. i got a text message, flipped it open, and the whole bottom half of the internal screen was cracked on the inside. i cant see anything on the bottom half, and i was wondering if i could repair it or have verizon repair it, because i dont want a refurbished one. i really like this phone, and would hate to get another. any ideas? any suggestion is appreciated.

Try taking to a Verizon store with a repair center and see what they can do. I know if you crack the external screen they can replace it. But not too sure about the internal.

Replace the external screen. Not sure if they can replace the internal screen without replacing the phone.

I recently broke my internal screen. I bought a replacement LCD on ebay for $29. The inside and outside screens are connected to eachother, and you have to replace both at the same time. It took about an hour to fully replace both. The hardest part involved de-soldering and re-soldering one of the speakers to the new screen unit. It has been a couple months and I have had zero issues since the replacement.

verizon does NOT replace phones anymore if u have the 1 year warrinty thing. verizon is getting WAY too expensive. if you want a new phone, ull have to pay the whole price. im better off just sending it in to lg
