Im having a bit of a problem with my Phone. I dont want my phone to vibrate everytime i touch the screen to save my battery consumption. I do TOUCH SETTINGS-VIBRATE EFFECT (OFF). The touch screen vibrate still works. oddly? so I do TOUCH SETTINGS- VIBRATE LEVEL (OFF). I notice this turns off the vibrate feature on the touch screen but also eliminates the vibrate feature when I get text messages. Even though i have (txt alert vibrate on). Is this a glitch? are any other people having this problem? Is there any way i could turn off vibrate on the touch screen and keep the vibrate on the text messages? My phone still vibrates when it rings so I find that strange. This is really irritating because the phone is not very loud and the phone doesnt vibrate. (on txts)

Its been discussed in here already, but it seems there were two "batches" of phones that went out. Some had this glitch, and others that did not.

Fortunetely I was lucky to get one that didnt have this glitch. I would take the phone to Verizon and make them replace it. If enough people do this instead of just living with the bug, it will force LG to get another update out quicker to fix it. Which will hopefully fix a couple other minor annoyances too...

Just like the versa. I had a versa before the envtouch and I got it the day it came out-same problem that the touch vibrate would have to be on in order for alert vibrate to work. I got another one and it worked. I recomend exchanging it and testing the vibrate on the new one.
