Omgosh... I had the same issue with chipped chrome!!!
I'm the same way. I take very good care of my phones. I always have screen protectors on the LCD's, cases on the entire phone, etc. When I had to get my first enV Touch replaced, the "like new" replacement had chips in the chrome. I was very upset. I had only had my first phone for less than two months and it didn't have a scratch on it. When I called Verizon they DID say that they would replace it (with another refurb) but I opted to wait to see how this phone did. Now two months later I DO have to get it replaced due to all of the issues I'm having... sigh.
