Is anyone else's phone randomly erasing text message drafts after you save them?  Sometimes it overwrites an older draft with the one I just saved.  Is there a way to fix this?  (I had this problem with my old phone too.)

How soon is it deleting them?
If it is doing a while after you save them, you might have "auto-erase" enabled on your phone.
Either disable it in the Messaging Settings menu, or when you have the draft open, hit Options, and then Lock.
The first will stop your phone from erasing messages automatically, the latter will lock the draft and if you "Erase All" the message will be kept as well, so you don't have to worry about accidental deletion.

mine does that too. it will only let me save one draft. if i go to save a second one, it automatically erases the first one.

I don't know that I can recall having to save more than one draft at a time.  I have never had a single draft be deleted before I could finish and send it though.

This seems like it should do the trick for you.  I never turned on the Auto-Erase function anyway, so I have never had the problem.

I just got my env touch a week ago and love it but it's erasing all my drafts as well, even if I lock them. Auto erase is off and Auto save is on, and even if I lock my draft, it still gets erased a few mins later. It's not a huge deal I guess but sometimes I do like to finish my messages where I left off or write something in advance. Any ideas what the deal is? I don't wanna take it back cause I just got it but jeeze lol.

I also noticed this.  I can save multiple drafts, but it seems to erase them randomly after a while (anywhere from a week to a couple months later).  I have the latest V07 firmware.  Very odd and somewhat annoying.

I have the AutoErase feature on, and it does.  My guess is that drafts are lowest in the hierarchies.

My auto erase is disabled and it still deletes draft messages.
