Ok after having my phone for two months, sometimes when i turn it on it goes back to the original stock display. I don't know why but only the external screen is affected. i dropped it twice on a carpet from three feet up, no physical damage, so I'm guessing its software?

Also why do cells always seem to be so faulty? why can't they be quality?

I had the same problem. I first had to get a software update, which didn't help at all! Then they sent me a refurbished phone which really got on my nerves. I earned the money for that phone which I only had for a few months, and because LG messed up I had to get some nasty used phone!

Arggghh!!  This happened to me yesterday.   Basically, my phone's battery died, which happens a lot, esp. on weekends, due to a lot of texting and photography.  I connected it to a charger and I noticed my phone's theme, wallpapers, ringtone, etc. all went back to stock settings!  Very annoying to say the least.  Fortunately, nothing on my microSDHC card was altered and my address book and text messages were fine.  So I had to go through my phone's settings and change them back to what they were, which took about 15 min.  This is the most powerful phone I've ever had but also the most glitchy. Sad

unfortunately these days products are actually made to stop working faster. when things are quality you have to consider that with a grain of salt because they arent the quality of the past. back in say the 1800s, people made everything to last. They would have the same clothes for years and years. now alot of us can't even keep a pair of jeans for a year.
it's to keep the industry alive.
too bad more people don't know that. because if more people did maybe the prices would be a little more reasonable for the quality.
