So, I searched and couldn't find anything related to what my phone decided to start doing this past week.

Pulled my phone out of my jacket pocket went to unlock it with the slide on the touch screen and noticed all the colors were reversed - like a negative of a photo. Opened and closed the phone and it went back to normal. Then, later that same evening - picked up my phone hit the CLR button only to find a black screen with 3-4 different color lines going vertical on the screen from top to bottom. Again, open and close and it goes away.

Has anyone else had this happen? I guess I shouldn't be totally worried because I called VZW CS and they agreed it's a phone glitch and are sending me yet another refurb - but said they had no other reports of this issue in their system so really I'm just wondering if it's honestly just me lol

Either way no biggie - just my curiosity getting the best of me!

They will RARELY admit that their phones have a known glitch across all/many of a particular model. If they say there haven't been any other reports similar to yours, you let it go and just accept their offer for another refurb. If they tell you that same problem is reported on a regular basis, you start asking more questions about why the hell you would want another replacement for that same phone with this known issue and suddenly they have to replace a lot of defective phones with brand new handsets instead of the cheap refurbs.

I never thought of it like that - but that makes perfect sense. Either way it doesn't matter. My new phone will be here tonight and I am still under warranty until January so if I have to I'll get another and another and another until January lol

Thanks for replying.

I have had this EXACT same problem. When i hit the unlock button on the side of my phone it will do that sometimes and then the whole screen will turn white. I hit the unlock button twice and it will go away.   I got a new phone last night (still an env touch) and it just happened to me today. I dont no what to do. When i went to the Verizon store the other day, the guy there told me all that i needed was to get my software updated which i did and the problem still continued so i ended up gettin a new env touch. This problem doesn't affect any of the phones capabilities but it is kinda annoying

i have had those problems and another one. The problem is that the external and internal screen will freeze up. the only way to get it unfrozen is to press the voice command button for the interior and do the same for the exterior (voice command on the exterior is the clr button).

This has been happening to me a lot lately. The other night, my battery was dying and just when it blinked "battery low," the screen turned a purple/blue-ish color. And when I get texts, my screen (external or internal, whichever is open at the time) goes white and has those exact vertical lines. The only way to get rid of it is to open and shut it. One time, the screen had green, red, blue and purple lines going all the way across the screen vertically and the only way to fix it was to take the battery out and put it back in. It did this before the update and after the update. So no, you are not the only one who is having these issues. Hopefully your new phone isn't doing the same thing. I think I will be calling Verizon today...

I'm having this same problem, I just never got around to posting or searching for it.
The first time, I dropped my phone on the carpet, and I picked it up to see a text message waiting. Except the screen was tinted red and orange. With locking it and unlocking it, the color went away.
