Today both my screens went black. removing the battery fixed it once. But, now the external screen is flickering and the internal screen slides to the right. I still recieve text messages, I just cant see them. I have had my phone since August 2009. What are my chances of a new replacement? Or is there a quick fix I can do to  fix this? btw, I tried a search but did not find an exact solution.
Thanks
Also my phone is now auto dialing the last dialed  number when the phone is left closed. Leaving it  open seems to solve this problem.
Thanks again.

Well the phone started working again. Except that the external send and mic/back buttons don't work. I called the warranty center they talked me through a reboot that did not solve the problem. But, The person told me that I am covered and can pick up a replacement phone at a local Verizon store tommorrow. There seems to be an abundance of re-furbed replacement ENV Touches in my area. I asked the rep if that was a good or bad thing for the Touch. She said  it is good that they have a lot of refurbs in stock it means they aren't replacing that many.  Huh? Oh well, I'll see how this turns out.

Good Luck! Since the phones are refurbished you may have to go through 1 or 2 before you find one that works. But here's to you getting a refurbished phone and everything works out on the first one.

Thanks, Actually the new replacement works except that not much later than I got it home it shut itself of and back on. It has done this twice today. The returned phone did this occasionally to so I am not too surprised by it. Hopefully this will not happen too often.

Well the problem has gotten worse. The phone randomly shuts off and back on, usually when I try to connect to the internet. Sometimes it just shuts off when on the home screen and does not come back on unless I turn it on manually.  Oh well I  will try another replacement this will be nunber two. I thought of a Droid but have heard even they have glitches. Actually I am posting this reply on my phone.
