I've had my env touch for about four days and all has been good....until last night.  I was on a call, then a txt message came in just as I was getting ready to hang up.  I hit end, but nothing happened.  I tried everything I could do to get the phone to respond, but it was completely frozen.  I ended up having to just remove the battery.  This happen to anyone else?  I hope it's not a common problem.

you are the first person I read this happen to, but with any electronic device stuff like that is bound to happen every once in a while. If it becomes a constant problem then I would take it to vzw to check out.

Not this same situation, but mine has frozen. More specifically, my external screen freezes, but the internal screen is fine most of the time. I have to take out the battery. Maybe there will be a update soon. Fingers Crossed!

Ya just like mmb said, this is a common problem that i've had with numerous phones that have tons of features like that.  I think sometime it has a brain fart and you just need to do the hard reset like that to get it back on track.  My phone has froze once since i got it and i haven't had any other problems other than that really.  Ya i agree if it persists i would just take it in and figure it out with Verizon.

were you doing anything specific when this happened? it is good to know if something specific happened to cause the problem, that way vzw and lg know and have a better idea of things to fix with a ne firmware update

Thanks for the replies.  The phone has done it a couple times.  Guess I'll go to the Verizon store and make them give me a new one.  Hope they don't try to stick me with a refurb.....it's not past my 30 days anyway.

Just got back from the Verizon store.  Told them what was up with the phone and they said it's D.O.A.  Gave me a new one.  Hope this new one works better. Smiley

I went to the verizon store because i was having similar freezing problems. The guy said the only thing i could do is wait for software updates to come out to prevent freezing from happening.

That's a lie.  They say that when they don't have an answer for your problem and they don't want you to take another new phone off their hands.  If you are within your first 30 days, you can always require them to replace a phone that is experiencing glitches, regardless of the number of phones you have to go through.  A glitching phone is there problem, not yours.  The phone freezing isn't a small issue that they can just expect you to deal with for a while.
