I have had the EnV Touch since July. I had it replaced once during the 30 day thing, so it was a brand new phone. Anyways now this phone has some problems.
1.) Turns off randomly. Happens mostly everyday. More than once a day.
2.)When setting "my ringtones" as an internal arrow key short cut it's turns the phone offf then on. (Not so much a problem, and it's not really fixable, my friends EnV Touch does this also)
(Well it just cut off as I was viewing a text, now it cut off again.. ):  )
3.) Sometimes the screens go whack.
4.) Sometimes the phone screens turn off, but the keypad lights are on, so I have to take out the battery and re turn on the phone
That is about all I can think of off the top of my head. The turning off is really annoying though. Once it was off for 2 or 3 hours, and I didn't notice. I want to go back and get another one. Do they give you a refurb? I am afraid if they give me a refurb it will be worse.
*Also, how many times do you have to go back to get another phone, before you can get another one. I love the env touch, but if it keeps turning off, I might end up getting the samsung rougue or env3.

Lol! well then you definitely will want to stay away from the Env 3, everyone I know except for my sister's husband constantly complains about the phone randomly shutting off. My sister's shutoffs but her's isn't that bad so she hasn't had to replace hers.

Have you tried updating to the lastest software version 09 is out. Also, do you think it's the phone or the battery? And lastly, yes they will give you a refurbished phone and I think after 3x's they (maybe 5x) let you upgrade to a different phone. However, I have read on and heard that if you b***h enough or get lucky they will give you a new phone, meaning a new Touch phone.
