I really think these resets are all a HUGE problem that has to do with LG messing up.  ALOT of there phones reset for NO reason.  They really have to fix this.  Voyager, Dare, Alias, and Touch, i don't know about the versa or others.

You act as if no other brand of phone experiences reset glitches.  It's one of the most common problems across cell phones in general, just ask a former BB Storm owner.  And the more features and capabilities that a phone has, the higher the risk for random reboots because there are more opportunities for conflicts in the programming code.

Hmmm honestly i never knew that.  I thought it was only the phones that i've had LOL.  I never hear anyone else complain about resets on any phone.

.....after taking phone off the charger?  I have V03 firmware.  I thought that fixed the random screen freezes I'd been having.  They aren't very often, just once in a blue moon whenever I'd take the phone off of the charger.  I'm hoping the next firmware upgrade will fix this.  I don't really want to have to return the phone, as this seems to be more of a software problem than a hardware one.  Besides, I'm not looking forward to having to manually put all of my "Favorites" back in the browser.

This hasn't happened again since I posted this.  In reading some of the other posts, I think it may have been caused by Backup Assistant.  Verizon apparently fixed the problem.

Not exactly, but I have been having more issues of late.  I have been experiencing random resets and there is not a specific task that I am performing that causes it, hence the random moniker.  For instance, I was scrolling through my contacts list tonight to update a few things and the list got messed up (the list had all the "A's" after the "D's" and woldn't move them back to the top.)  Earlier today, I was sitting at my computer with my phone sitting on the night stand when it suddenly rebooted.  I had not touched it in 15-20 minutes, so I am not sure what caused it.

I have had the occassional reboot while browsing the web, but those instances have been few are far between.  I have had some issues with the memory card recognition, but it seems to right itself after removing and reinstalling the card.

I turn the phone off when charging it and try to do a battery pull once a week.  Anyone have any advice or recommendations on what the issue could be?  I would understand if the phone did these things from the first day I brought it home, but it hasn't.  It just started in the last 60 days or so.

This just started for me also.  Phone randomly resets to default settings.  First time happened while checking email, second time while on the web, and this third time the phone was just sitting on my desk - it was normal when I set it down, but when I picked it up it was turned off and back to default settings.  Battery is showing fully charged.

It keeps my internet favorites, contacts, and calendar, as well as everything that's on the memory card.  Just all the settings are reset (display, touch, shortcuts, etc).

Perhaps "resets" is the wrong word for what happens to mine.  I guess really, what is happnening, is that it power cycles.  There is nothing changed on the phone after it cycles except that the Shortcuts/My Media screen is always on Shortcuts even if I leave it on My Media.

This happening to anyone else?
