I am hoping to get some opinions with this problem.. First I was wondering if it is normal for the phone to make a creak/small snap noise from the top right corner of the phone when light pressure is applied in that area..(kind of annoying when phone is close and texting) it is right where the rubber piece that keeps the top away from the keyboard meets, when I was looking at this I noticed when I move my finger, not on the screen itself, but the top right corner of the glass near the speaker the internal lcd screen gets a tie dye effect on the screen itself, pretty much right where the battery bars are on the phone.. I was wondering if this is happening to anyone else? is this normal? I tried the 3 phones at the verizon store and they did not do this, yet tech support there told me this is normal for lcd screens? I have had to replace this phone a few times now due to charging issues to an extremely loose hinge.. this one so far works pretty good except for these problems.. I am wondering if I should ask them to exchange it or do you think these problems creaking/lcd distortion are pretty much normal for the enV Touch?

I'd absolutely get a replacement.  The problems you're experiencing don't seem normal to me.  I know mine doesnt do that.......mine has other problems though. lol

Ya i would have to say that creaking or the rainbow effect on your screen is NOT NORMAL.  You need to slap CS for telling you it is normal.  LCD tv's or plasma screens or something like that might be normal, but not on a phone that is designed for touch purposes.  I would do like Rabitar said and just take it back, I'm sure your still in your 30 day period since the phone hasn't even been out that long, plus i'm sure that would fall under the phone's warranty.

ya, take it to cs. no phone should ever creak.
but for the lcd screen, every phone ive had if u apply enough pressure to the screen, the screen will morph  (kinda like u said? idk ive never had a touch screen phone) but u should still take it back
