BOTH my brother's EnV Touch and mine are having this internal screen issue where the screen will not come on most of the time when the phone is opened until we close it and open it again or hit some buttons.

What's the deal.  Both phones??  Anyone else have this problem?

It's really not too bad at this point, just annoying, really.  I'm worried it could get worse such as the screen just not working after a point.

We're both past 30 days and don't want a refurbished.

What do you think?

I did a hard reset a few days ago and it fixed the problem completely!

If it happens again I guess I can just do another hard reset... give it a try and let us know if it solves the problem.

How long have you had your phone, just out of curiousity?

I've had mine about a week and I notice that when I flip it open, the internal screen is black for a few seconds longer than it seems it should be before lighing up. I wonder if over time this is a sign my phone will have the same problem yours will?

I'm on my second enV Touch.  I was passed the 30 days when the first one went bad.  There was no saving it.  I'm now on my second enV Touch and am starting to get more and more problems with it.  I really did not want their "factory refurbished, guaranteed LIKE new" phone, but they refused to give me a new one.  I did get them to put a brand spanking new battery in it though, but that has not fixed my battery issues.

However, long way of venting/saying... I too have had this problem with BOTH of my phones now.  I open it and it stays black for way too long.  Or I have to re-close and re-open, or hit a button to make the screen come on.  Very annoying.  This phone disappoints me more and more each day.  I'm about to have Verizon send out yet another replacement...   Angry

I am on my 4th phone.  My brand new one got hot when charging and first the replaced the battery.  That didn't fix it so they replaced the phone with a refurb.  Very quickly that one went bad.  Then I got the blue/black screen of death on my "like-new" phone and they replaced it with yet another refurb which was in bad condition even tho it only had an hour or so of calls on it.  I too, am very picky about my phone, have a cover and screen protector at all times.  So I went right back the VERY next day and complained to the same woman who had helped me the night before and they gave me a brand new one.  Even let me look at it to make sure I was happy with it.  I had all the same issues with it but the LG V05 update done there at the Verizon Store fixed 99% of them.

I was VERY persistent with the fact that my phone was less than 60 days old and that I had paid for a new phone and it was in Brand New condition when it went bad and I expected nothing less.   I got what I wanted and I didn't even rant and rave, I was very quiet and respectful.  (I've gotten ugly before, sad to say, and not very proud of it.)

Then I scratched my screen up really badly (I thought I put a screen protector on it after I got it...I hadn't.)  Oh well, at least I know that I scratched my phone and not someone else, haha.
