I have auto save on my texts...it saves all incoming texts but deletes my sent texts!! It's so annoying. Can anyone recommend a way to fix this?

even though auto save is on, make sure you have the auto delete set to off

I should've said before, auto delete is turned off, auto save is turned on.

Is it deleting every sent message so that none are ever saved or is it only deleting them because you have reached max capacity for the outbox?

they delete after a few days...wouldn't my max capacity for received and sent be the same? If so it would delete both but it's only deleting sent.

Max capacity for outbox is smaller than inbox.  You'll see outbox messages deleted way faster than inbox ones.

That sucks! Thanks.

Not sure this will work on the Touch, but something I did on my Voyager was sort through my contacts and all other items that use the phone's internal memory to weed out anything I didn't use.  Ultimately it did extend my inbox and outbox capacity.

My available memory is currently 164.4 MB, my used memory is 85.6 MB. But I'm going to try to delete some contacts and see if it helps.
