new phone, please help

i was given the Env touch as a gift 2 days ago from my family,   phone calls work great and sound great, the texting is spot on, and even the music player works great,  thats where the pluses stop though,  whenver i try to use the browser or even the facebook app that was preloaded on it, it crashes and restarts, every time, when i take photos and go into my photos i get an error that says "write script" and cant view photos although when i check the memory it shows photos being saved, and if i try to get a new app, it says that my account information cannot be verified and to call customer service.  i reallly like this phone and dont want a refurbised one,  but if anyone can give me some help on this i  would be greatly appreciative..

I 2nd what Beowulf said. I also recommend getting a micro card if you haven't already.
